Cross River state Head of Service ,Barr. Geraldine Akpet-Ekanem has bowed to Labour’s demand following the picketing of the state Secretariat in the arly hours of today, Monday .

We gathered that over 50 Directors have so far been refunded their N25,000 earlier paid by respective directors for Permanent Secretary Promotion Examination, as at the time of filing this report.

Our source disclosed that over  70 Directors have been refunded so far and the process in currently on going.

He described the development as  victory for labour in the state.
