MAKKAH: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has relaxed Precautionary measures in the Two Holy Mosques and scrapped all age requirements to obtain permits for Umrah and prayers in the Two Holy Mosques.

The only requirement is to have a “Immune” Status on the Tawakalana Application in order to obtain permits.

Other Precautionary measures such as Social and Physical Distancing are also expected to be scrapped as COVID cases continue to decline in Saudi Arabia and as the Ministry prepares to increase capacity in preparations for the month of Ramadan.
