Hajj 2022: Gombe Pilgrims board charges staff on dedication to duty

Gombe state Muslim Pilgrims’ board staff have been urged to be dedicated to their duties and shun activities that will tarnish image of the board.
The Executive secretary of the board Alh. Sa’adu Hassan Adamu made the call after the meeting with the management and staff of the board at the board’s conference hall in Gombe State.
Alh. Adamu called on the staff to be fair and honest especially now that the preparation is at top gear for this year Hajj and distances themselves from shady deals with the intending pilgrims and shun rumors at all times.
The Executive secretary said adequate provision has been made for the exercise that includes workshops for the pilgrim and securing of accommodation in Makkah for their comforts.

About 1105 pilgrims are expected to perform Hajj from Gombe State This year
Alh. Hassan further admonishes intending pilgrims to stays away from drugs, and avoids any acts that can tarnish the image of the country whenever they are departing to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He expresses his appreciation to the Executive Governor of the state Alh. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for all support and assistance to the board and
for appointing credible people as members of the board in the state.
