No fewer than 2,565 Nigerian pilgrims have been airlifted from different airports in the country to the holy land of Saudi Arabia for the 2022 hajj rites as at today.
The pilgrims are Borno, Nassarawa, FCT, Osun and Lagos states
In the early hours of today, FLYNAS flight XY5010 which departed Lagos with 430 pilgrims at 11: 44pm on Tuesday arrived Madinah early this morning.

The flight which was the sixth from Nigeria ferried 170 male pilgrims and 260 females pilgrims bringing the total of Nigerians in the holy land to 2,565.
Nigeria is expected to transport 43,008 pilgrims to the holy land before the close of Saudi Borders for the hajj exercise in the first week of July.
