SAUDI Arabia is anticipating a record-breaking 15 million Muslim visitors to Al Rawda Al Sharifa in Medina by the end of 2024. This significant influx is largely attributed to the success of the Nusuk app, which has streamlined the booking process for worshippers.
According to Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al Rabiah, the Nusuk app has introduced a “qualitative leap in services,” mainly through the efficient issuance of permits to visit Al Rawda Al Sharifa. This innovation has contributed to a seamless experience for pilgrims, reducing waiting times to just one hour.

access, separate daily timings have been allocated for male and female worshippers. Additionally, a visit permit is issued every 365 days for the same worshipper, as per the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s regulations.
This year has already seen over 10 million Muslims visit and pray at Al Rawda Al Sharifa, marking a 26% increase from last year. The visitors included 5.8 million male worshippers and 4.7 million females.
