2024 Hajj: NAHCON distributes slots to states as Kaduna tops again

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has allocated 95,000 hajj slots to Nigeria for the 2024 hajj exercise.

During the 2023 hajj, Nigeria was granted the same number of hajj slots.

In the same vein, NAHCON has distributed the slots to states FCT and armed forces in a manner not too different from last year’s.

Meanwhile, NAHCON Chairman/CEO, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan, held a meeting with representatives of Air Carriers The meeting, it was gathered was to discuss the modalitie for the operation.

Howevere, in the distribution made by the commission, Kaduna state got 6,004; Kano 5,934; Sokoto 4,996; Kebbi 4,752; Katsina 4,513 and FCT 4,368. Lagos got 3,517; Osun 1,764; Oyo 1,386.

Ogun 1,191; Ondo 491 and Ekiti 246.

67; Imo Delta 199; Bayelsa 58; Edo has 412; Cross-River 64; Anambra 15 Enugu got 14 pilgrims’ slots.
