The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board is collaborating with the State Fire Service to ensure seamless hajj operation in Bauchi State.
The Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris disclosed this when the Director State Fire Service BLDR Dauda Bala Pali led the delegation of his staff who paid courtesy visit on the Executive Secretary in his office.
Imam Abdurrahman stated that the Fire Service Authority is an important agency that plays vital role in the areas of rescue fire prevention, fire fighting as well as promotion of fire education.
He noted that the role of fire service cannot be over emphasis during hajj operation, urged them to continue to give their unflinching support at the Airport and hajj camp to ensure a hitch free exercise.

Imam Abdurrahman further said adequate fire education would surely reduce the rate of fire incident, advised the fire service to provide other modalities in order to promote fire education and enlightenment.
Earlier in his remarks the Director Fire Service said visit was aimed at to strengthen the existing relationship with the Board, assured the fire service authority of continuous contribution to the success of hajj operation.
