Airlift of intending pilgrims from Kwara State to this year’s Hajj will commence on the 12th of May, 2025.
Executive Secretary, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir announced the flight schedule while speaking to newsmen at an enlightenment Programme today for successful observation of the spiritual voyage organized by the Board.
Alhaji Abdulkadir explained that the second batch is on 14th, 3rd batch 16th while the last batch is on 17th of next month.
The Executive Secretary stated that accommodation and caterers have been arranged for the intending pilgrims in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia

He said preparation for this Hajj almost complete for 2,174 Pilgrims as their visas have been processed.
In his lecture, Grand Khadi Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Ilorin, Justice Abdul-lateef Kamaldeen took the intending pilgrims through the nitty-gritty of Hajj to educate them on what is expected while in the holy land.
Justice Kamaldeen who demonstrated Hajj activities advised them not to exclude any process of Hajj rite to insulate them against invalidation.
The Jurist cautioned them against unwanted utterances and acts that could undermine their Hajj.
Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria reports that other stakeholders from Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Customs and National Orientation Agency appealed to intending pilgrims to desist of conveying prohibited items to the holy land or face stiff punishment when apprehended.
