After spending four days in Madinah, the Prophet’s City, the first contingent of 1,874 Nigerian Pilgrims from Imo, Bauchi, Kebbi, Osun and Kogi states, have started moving to Makkah today, Wednesday, 14th May-2025.

This marks the first set of Nigerian Pilgrims to enter Makkah for the 2025 Hajj from Nigeria, representing a significant milestone in Nigeria’s participation in this year’s Hajj.

En route to Makkah, the Pilgrims will stop at Miqat Dhul Hulaifa, where they will enter the state of Ihram, a significant moment that marks their transition into a state of ritual purity and devotion.

The Pilgrims are expected to perform Umrah (Lesser Hajj) immediately upon arrival into Makkah today.
