This was revealed on Saturday by the executive chairman pilgrims welfare agency, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu Yaro, according to him the national Hajj commission (NAHCOM) officially close sales of Hajj seats on December,, the 6th,2025, to avert loss of remaining seats the governor borrowed ten billion naira to the agency to procure over one thousand Hajj seats for Kebbi intending pilgrims to buy from the agency “. before the closure only two thousand intending pilgrims were able to complete their payments which is a shortfall from the annual number of pilgrims Kebbi usually register”.

Yaro noted that the decrease in the number of pilgrims is not unconnected with the crash of food stuffs because almost sixty percent of Kebbi intending pilgrims are farmers who sales their farm products to buy Hajj seats the remaining percentage are civil servants and well to do individuals in the society he said.
