The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has stressed it’s readiness to strengthen it’s partnership with Bauchi Chapter of Gardawa Multipurpose Association of Nigeria to achieve its desired goal.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Babangida Tafida Tafidan Giade made this known during a courtesy visit Tuesday by the Gardawa association in his office.
Babangida Tafida expressed optimism that the visit was targeted at rebuilding a synergy and support between the board and the association towards providing better services to Pilgrims.
Acknowledging the contributions of the group in the past, Alh. Babangida Tafida urged them to continue to pray for Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad of Bauchi to continue to deliver his campaign promises.
He further advised them to fervently pray that the COVID-19 pandemic should not hinder the 2021 Hajj excercise.
Earlear, in his speech the chairman of the Association Allaramma Kabiru Adamu said the visit was aimed at congratulating the Executive Secretary for the well deserved appointment by His Excellency, the Governor of Bauchi State.
“Having watched your performance since your assumption of office, we find it necessary to congratulate you, commend and challenge you to do more”
Allaramma Kabiru reiterated the commitment of the Association to work, support and pray for the progress of Bauchi State to earn the pleasure of Allah.
