The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the vaccination of its 2022 intending pilgrims.
The exercise is being carried out at the permanent hajj transit camp, Bassan Jiwa close to Nnamdi Azikwe international airport, Abuja.
Intending pilgrims who paid through Abaji, Bwari and Abuja municipal Area Councils were vaccinated in line with International travel requirements.

The exercise would continue on Sunday 5th June with intending pilgrims from Gwagwalada, Kuje and Kwali Area councils as well as those who paid through the Hajj Savings Scheme.
The vaccination would be rounded up with intending pilgrims that registered through the Headquarters on Monday 6th of June 2022.
Similarly, the Board has commenced the distribution of Uniform, bags and other travel materials to the intending pilgrims.
All intending pilgrims who have met the bench mark of N2.5 million are expected to present their original receipt of payment for the collection of their materials.
