tHE National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON Tuesday paid a tribute to late former envoy to Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Abdulkadir Imam who died recently.
Imam died recently in his country home, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital at the age of 90. The deceased was one- time director of Directorate of Pilgrims Affairs (DPA), Imam, at various times, also served the country as ambassador and chief of protocol in Saudi Arabia, Germany, Libya Egypt, Lebanon and Poland.

In a massage of condolence, NAHCON Chairman/CEO Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Haasan described the late envoy as a gentleman whose contribution to Hajji administration will remain indelible and etched in the memory forever.. According to him, the late envoy,while in service always put the interest of the nation above any other considerations.
He therefore prayed the Almighty Allah to grant eternal peace to the soul of the deceased
Meanwhile a delegation led by Assistant Director, Information and Publications, Mousa Ubandawaki, Assistant Director, Office of the Chairman, Abdulkadir Oloyin and Ibrahim Fijabi of Ilorin Zonal Office was in Ilorin to deliver the chairman’s condolence message.
