THE Chief Missioner of Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society, NASFAT, Imam Abdul-Azeez Onike, has urged Muslims world over to make impact in human lives and serve Allah diligently.
Onike stated this while inaugurating a branch of the society in Lome, Republic of Togo on Sunday, 2nd October 2022.
The event marked the 179th inauguration conducted by the society and making it 350 branches and groups worldwide.
He titled his lecture “Making impacts in life by serving humanity”, using the HELD (Health, Education, Livelihood and Da’wah) policy of Nasrul Lāhi-l-Fātih Society as a reference point.
He buttressed his point with the saying of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) “… The best of people are those who are most beneficial to people”, while citing the verse of the Qur’an that motivated the founding fathers of NASFAT in 1995 thus: “And from among you, there must be a party who invite people to all that is good and enjoin the doing of all that is right and forbid the doing of all that is wrong. It is they who will attain true success” (Q3:104)
Onike urged the new executive officers to focus on building learning centers, provision of empowerment opportunities for members, giving members access to free healthcare and holding Da’wah programmes that improve the spiritual wellbeing of members.
