The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, has constituted a 17-member Medical screening and operations committee for the 2023 Hajj operations.
The Chairman/CEO of the commission, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan represented by his Operations Commissioner, Alhaji Abdullahi Magaji Hardawa, inaugurated the Committee at the Hajj House Abuja, Wednesday.
He charged the members of the committee on serve diligently, emphasizing that their assignments is crucial to the success of 2023 hajj exercise.
The Committee will determine among other things the overall implementation strategy for the medical operations and to promote teamwork and synergy.
It will also identify suitable locations of clinics to be used in Makkah and Madinah during the 2023 Hajj Exercise, test run the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and ensures full integration into NAHCON’s operations; screen/select applicants for 2023 Hajj Medical operations; and conduct the appointment and orientation of the 2023 National Medical Team members among others.
