The Executive Secretary, Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheikh Mohammad Awwal Aliyu has extended his warmest felicitation to His Excellency the Executive Governor of the State, RT. Hon. Umar Mohammad Bago as Nigeria celebrates its 63rd Independence Anniversary.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Jibrin Usman Kodo, the Executive Secretary praised Governor Umar Bago’s exemplary leadership and dedication to the welfare of pilgrims in the State.
He commended the Governor’s efforts in ensuring a seamless and well-organized pilgrimage for the citizens in the State.
The Executive Secretary noted that the Governor’s commitment to providing necessary support, guidance, and resources for pilgrims’ welfare, has tremendously enabled them to fulfill their religious obligations with ease and comfort.

Acknowledging the Governor’s efforts on the safety and well-being of pilgrims, Sheikh Mohammad Awwal emphasized the significant improvements made in the pilgrimage process under Governor Umar Bago’s watch.
He praised the Governor’s initiatives in enhancing transportation, accommodation, and healthcare facilities for pilgrims, ensuring a smooth and spiritually enriching journey for the state pilgrims.
As Nigeria celebrates its 63rd Independence Anniversary, the Executive Secretary called on all stakeholders involved in the pilgrimage process to reflect on the progress made and to continue working together to improve the experience for future pilgrims.
