Representatives of Sisters of Jannah, Lagos Zone, have visited the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, Lagos. The team, during their visit, presented food items for the inmates and facilitated the bail of a Muslim single mother of four children.
Speaking on the visit, a member of the delegation said, “Alhamdulillah, among the things we achieved, was to facilitate and pay the bail of a Muslim single mother of 4. We gave dawah and also gave some valuable advice.
“We prayed Allah to ease all her affairs, after which a sum of N150,000 was given to her to enable her to start a food business so that she could have a source of livelihood.
“ The zone also paid N50,000 to her debtor and encouraged her to save and pay up the remaining 50,000 once she starts making a profit.

“Thereafter, the team moved into the correctional centre and donated the following items to the Muslim women inmates: Packs of toilet rolls, 10 litres of Vegitable oil, 2 bags of 10kg Semovita, 12 pieces of medium sized buckets, packs of toothpaste and packs of toothbrushes, 4 bags Sanitary pad, 1 bag of slippers, neatly used clothes, and Hijabs.
“We did Dawaah, prayed with them, and they were filled with hope and excitement.
“May Allah Azwajal accept it from us as an act of worship.
