The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt. Hon Philip Shaibu, has congratulated Amb. Collins Osazee Idahosa on his appointment as Governor of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN) Europe Chapter.
Amb Collins Idahosa was recently appointed as the Governor, National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Europe Chapter.
In a letter he personally signed and made available to Vanguard, the Deputy Governor praised Idahosa’s appointment as a testament to the “I can do spirit” and manifestation of excellence that Edo sons and daughters are reputed for around the world.
Shaibu said: “It is heartwarming to know that as a true and bonafide citizen of the Heartbeat of Nigeria, your elevation to this exalted position has further consolidated the enviable status of Edo State in the international community as a sub-national of pride, honour, and integrity.”
He expressed confidence that Idahosa will be a shining light and exemplary pathfinder for the teeming hardworking and entrepreneurial Nigerian youths in the diaspora, particularly in Europe.
“Indeed, this is a great feat worth celebrating by well-meaning Edo people both at home and abroad, adding, “as a people famed for resilience, hard work and industry, I am proud of your accomplishments,” Shaibu said.
