Arabi visits pilgrims in Mina, seeks forgiveness over errors

*As Elegushi warns against excess luggage *Says: Don't carry Zam-Zam water

The chairman National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, Mallam Jalal Ahmad Arabi has sought pilgrims’ forgiveness on areas where the commission was expected to do better, adding that no human being can avoid mistake.

Arabi stated this during his visits to tents of Nigerian pilgrims in Muna, Monday.
The chairman who was accompanied by some senior management staff of the commission, visited Delta, Yobe, Borno, Bauchi, Adamawa, and Taraba States including FCT.
He was received by the chairmen and secretaries of various states Pilgrims Welfare Agencies, Boards and Commissions he visited.

He however hailed the pilgrims for showing patience and understanding throughout their stay at Mina.

He charged them to intensify prayers for their love ones, families, state and the country at large.

Meanwhile, NAHCON Operations Commissioner, Prince Anofiu Olanrewaju also led another delegation including media men to Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, Kwara states and also some private Tour operators.
Elegushi enjoined them to abide by the rules of 32kg luggage and 8kg hand luggage as the return journeys would start in earnest. He warned that excess luggage will not be allowed.

He also informed them not to carry any Zam-Zam Holy Water because NAHCON has already delivered their 5 litre ZamZam for each pilgrim to Nigeria.
