The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that the state government has approved a minimum initial deposit of N6.5 million for intending pilgrims from the state for the 2025 Hajj.

According to Muhammad Yunusa, Information Officer of the board, all payments must be made through bank tellers, as cash payments will not be accepted.

For those wishing to perform Hajj through local governments, customized Hajj bank tellers can be collected from the Hajj Affairs Officer at the local government secretariat to pay the deposit. Meanwhile, payments for the Board’s pilgrims (BS1) will be made at Jaiz Bank.
