Borno state Pilgrims Welfare Board has congratulated the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, and all stakeholders in the hajj services on the debut of the Hajj Savings Scheme, HSS initiative.
Last Sunday, the Hajj Savings Scheme, HSS, was launched in Kano State signaling the take-off of the scheme. Earlier, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Jaiz Bank on the scheme.
The Borno pilgrims board described the development as a wonderful achievement and a historical landmark in the history of hajj in the country.

The Board in statement made available to newsmen said: “The Borno State Pilgrims Welfare Board wishes to use this medium to join millions of Nigerian Muslims and our esteemed intending pilgrims to congratulate the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), JA’IZ Bank, Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board and all stakeholders at the national and state levels for the successful launching of the Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS).
“It is indeed a wonderful achievement and a historical landmark in the history of Hajj in Nigeria.
May Allah SWT reward each and every one of us richly and may He continue to bless guide and protect the leadership at all levels and entire Muslim Ummah. Ameen thuma ameen.”
