A 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck the Chinese province of Qinghai early Saturday, (late Friday in Nigeria) according to the US Geological Survey, after another earthquake in the southwest of the country killed at least two people.
And American seismologists said that the epicenter of the earthquake that struck Qinghai was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, about 400 kilometers southwest of Xining City.

Earlier, the US Survey Center stated that the earthquake had a magnitude of 7.4, before correcting the number. The sparsely populated province extends over the Tibetan plateau.
