The Kwara State Government has commenced the Second vaccination of intending pilgrims to this year’s hajj exercise to Saudi Arabia.
During the flag-off of the vaccination exercise Monday at the Kwara State Muslims Welfare Board, the Chairman of the Board, Dr Abdulkadir Sambo Sambaqi expressed the commitment of the state government to inoculate all intending pilgrims from Kwara.
Dr Sambaqi assured pilgrims of the safety and efficacy of the vaccine, adding that the inoculation exercise was aimed at the protection of intending pilgrims against the COVID – 19 pandemic.

Highpoint of the exercise was the vaccination of the Chairman of the board, Dr Sambaqi as well as the Executive Secretary for the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Barrister Ganiyu Ishola Ahmed followed by pilgrims from Moro and Asa Local Government Areas of the State.
The Exercise which commenced Monday 7th of June, 2021 would be rounded-off on Friday 18th June, 2021
