“There is absolutely nothing anyone can do in life without belief. What one does whether good or bad, right or wrong is a function of the inner conviction which is faith. Therefore people may have sound or unsound faith. The Quran Chapter 3: 19-20 gives the foundation of sound faith for the Muslims that only Islam is acceptable before Allah.”
“It is not enough that people pray and fast, adding that people of sound faith are those with good behaviour, those who guide their prayers and relationship with Allah and will inherit Al-janatul Firdaus.”
He stated that the faithful are known through good manners, adding that reading the Quran and hadiths; listening to good sermons, seeking Islamic Knowledge, keeping the company of the righteous, constant and solemn worship and remembrance of Allah, Du’a and Tawbah are some of the ways of having a sound faith.
The benefits of sound faith in the individual according to him include happiness, security and prosperity.
