The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof Abdullahi Saleh Usman, has congratulated Muslims worldwide on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan.

“We are alive to witness the end of another blessed month of Ramadan in high spirits and hope that our acts of worship will earn us His pleasure and forgiveness,” Professor Usman said in a goodwill message.
He extended his “heartfelt congratulations to Muslims all over the world on this blessed occasion of Eid el-Fitr,” and joined millions of Muslims in praying that the spirit of unity, sacrifice, and obedience instilled during Ramadan would be sustained.
Professor Usman also seized the opportunity to appeal for support and cooperation from stakeholders as NAHCON intensifies preparations for the 2025 Hajj. “I humbly appeal for the continued prayers and support of all stakeholders… for the Commission to deliver a smooth and well-organized Hajj that we all yearn to witness.”
He assured that NAHCON has made adequate arrangements for the Hajj operations but emphasized the need for cooperation from all quarters. “Our prayer and appeal is for cooperation from all quarters in any small or big way possible.”
The NAHCON Chairman prayed that Allah would accept the fasts, prayers, and good deeds of Muslims during Ramadan and grant a successful Hajj season this year. “Eid Mubarak!” he said.
