The Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu has commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his tremendous support to the Commission.

Malam Abubakar Salihu who made the commendation during a press briefing held at the Commission’s corporate headquarters in Yola Friday, hinted that its first flight is expected on June 2, 2023.

He said the commission has concluded all necessary arrangements for the airlift of its intending Pilgrims to the Holy land of Mecca for this year’s Hajj exercise

He said the Commission had registered 2,574 intending Pilgrims for the exercise this year, adding that Meridian Hotel Yola has been secured to serve as a transit camp for the intending Pilgrims.

The Executive Secretary explained that the intending Pilgrims have been inoculated.
