Hajj 2022: Nigeria gets 43,000 Hajj seats

Saudi Arabia has allocated 43,000 Hajj seats slot to Nigeria for the 2022 pilgrimage exercise.

The slot is against the 95,000 allocation approved for the country in the previous years.

The Executive Secretary, Kano state Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alh. Muhammad Abba Dambatta disclosed this while speaking to newsmen in Kano on Wednesday.

Dambatta said the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON informed him about 43,000 allocations on Tuesday.

Although, the NAHCON officials were yet to officially announce the figure.

With the 43,000 allocation, NAHCON is expected to distribute the seats among the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
