Hajj 2024: Bauchi embarks on sensitisation in LGs

Bauchi State has embarked on state-wide sensitisation tour to 20 Local Government Councils in Bauchi State.

The Special Adviser on Pilgrims Affairs, Alh. Shehu Wadaji led the team that will cover Giade, Shira, Jamaare and Itas Gadau Local Government Councils.

At a time of writing this report, the Special Adviser’s team has already visited Giade and Shira Local Government Councils.

Other five advocacy groups led by the Chairman of the Board, Executive Secretary, deputy Chairman of the Board are also on the course.

The excercise has targeted traditional and religious leaders, civil society oganisations for the sensitisation.

The team would also visit local media organisation to create awareness on new 2024 hajj policies introduced by Saudi Arabia and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON.
