The Kebbi State Pilgrims’ Welfare Agency has commenced distribution of uniforms and bags to 2024 prospective pilgrims.
The distribution ceremony was launched by the Deputy Speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Bambu-Bagudo and the wife of the Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Marisa Nasare Nasir Idris held at the Kebbi State Hajj Camp in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.
Items distributed included; clothes for male, two bundles wrappers and Hijab for female intending pilgrims.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of the agency, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu Yaro Enabo (Jagaban Gwandu) said the items distributed were contribution from His Excellency, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu.
He urged the pilgrims to reciprocate the gesture by always remembering the governor in their prayers both here in Nigeria and in the Holy land.
The chairman observed that prayer for the governor to succeed was a prayer for the entire state to record meaningful development.

“Therefore, I enjoin you to always intensify prayers in the holy land for yourselves, your governor, your state and your country. Pray for restoration of peace, unity and progress of Nigeria as a whole,” he advised.
Those on the entourage of the deputy speaker were; Hon. Tukur M. Shanga, Hon. Adamu B.B Birnin Yauri, Hon. Garba Bena, Hon. Atiku Kurya as well as Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Hon. Sani Mohammed Zuru.
