Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced sensitisation visits to the League of Imams and Alfas in Egba, Ilaro and Remo zones, to intimate them on the commencement of year 2025 Hajj exercise.
Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Ajibola Taiwo, who led a team to the zones, said the Board is open for initial deposit of Eight Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N8,500,000) which could be paid in full or instalments, pending the final announcement of the Hajj fare for next year by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Alhaji Taiwo assured that the agency would not relent at ensuring adequate welfare of pilgrims, soliciting support and prayers of the Imams for a successful operation in 2025.
In their various response, the Chief Imam of Egbaland Sheik Sa’aadallah Bamigbola, Chief Imam of Ilaro Sheik Tajudeen Adewunmi and Chief Imam of Remoland, Sheik Abdulquadir Junaid, respectively, pledged their cooperation with the Board for smooth conduct of the exercise.
