The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in carrying out its mandate successfully.
This pledge was made by the State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadiri Hamzat, when he received the NAHCON management team, led by Chairman Professor Abdullahi Usman, in his office.
Dr. Hamzat advised NAHCON to address key challenges facing pilgrims, including reducing the number of days spent in Saudi Arabia, resolving visa issues, and improving feeding arrangements. He also offered prayers for the success of the Hajj administration.

In his remarks, Professor Usman stated that NAHCON has made significant progress in preparing for the 2025 Hajj. He noted that the screening of airlines has been completed, and the Hajj fare will be announced soon. Additionally, a meeting has been held with state officials to finalize other arrangements.
Professor Usman also revealed that plans are underway to secure Tent A at Mina for VIPs and government officials. This development is expected to enhance the overall Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims.
