Lagos Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board gets new Secretary





The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo- Olu has appointed Mr. Onipede Olayiwola Saheed as Secretary of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, after the deployment of the former occupant to another agency.

The letter of appointment signed on Wednesday February 8, 2023 by the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, stated that in approving Onipede’s appointment, due cognizance was taken of his track record.

The Head of Service stressed further that he has no doubt that the new Board Secretary would bring his wealth of experience to bear on the mandate of the Board and that he would justify the confidence reposed in him by Mr. Governor.

Mr. Onipede Olayiwola Saheed

The appointment takes immediate by effect.

Mr. Onipede who hails from the Badagry division of Lagos State is an Assistant Director (Admin & HR) in the State Civil Service.
