Makkah, Saudi Arabia – In a move to spread Islamic teachings worldwide, the General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has launched a multi-language initiative, making sermons and lessons from the Grand Mosque accessible to a global audience.
Through the Manarat Al-Haramain platform, the authority provides live broadcasts and translations of essential sermons, including Friday sermons, Eid sermons, and special prayers. These translations are available in 11 languages: English, French, Urdu, Malay, Persian, Hausa, Chinese, Russian, Bengali, Turkish, and Indonesian.
This initiative has significantly broadened the reach of Islamic teachings, enabling non-Arabic speakers worldwide to connect with the Grand Mosque’s spiritual guidance.
The services also include translations of lessons by esteemed scholars and enrichment courses during Ramadan and Hajj.
Furthermore, the authority translates conferences and seminars held within the Grand Mosque, ensuring that visitors from diverse linguistic backgrounds can engage with the mosque’s programs.
Additionally, translated texts for guidance boards and electronic screens throughout the mosque and its courtyards are meticulously reviewed.
This move will apart from being spiritually enriching, it offers more inclusive and accessible to a global audience.
