The Acting Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, is convening his maiden meeting with the Executive Staff today, September 13, 2024.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Saleh expressed gratitude to the Almighty for the opportunity to serve in this capacity. He noted with concern that a review of the minutes from the previous meeting reveals pressing matters requiring urgent deliberation.

Prof. Saleh prayed for Allah’s guidance to ensure successful discussions during the meeting.

In attendance are Commissioner for Planning, Research, Statistics, Information, and Library Services (PRISLS), Prof. Abubakar A. Yagawal; Commissioner for Operations, Inspectorate, and Licensing (OIL), Prince Anofi Elegushi; and Commissioner for Policy, Personnel Management, and Finance (PPMF), Prince Aliu AbdulRazaq.

Also present is Dr. Saleh Usman Muhammad, Special Assistant (Technical) to the Acting Chairman.
