The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a stronger relationship with tour operators to ensure a hitch-free Hajj operation.
Professor Abdullahi Usman, Chairman of NAHCON, made this pledge during the inauguration of the new office of the Association of Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) in Lagos. Usman emphasized that the commission is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by the association, particularly with regards to Umrah visas.

In a related development, Prince Anofiu Elegushi, Commissioner of Operation at NAHCON, announced that the commission has completed the screening of tour operators who applied for the 2025 Hajj license. This move is aimed at ensuring that only reputable and qualified operators participate in the Hajj exercise.
Abdulfatai Abdulmajeed, Chairman of the Board of Trustees representing AHUON, expressed gratitude to NAHCON for its support and promised to work collaboratively with the commission.
