A one-day Sensitization Program led by Commissioner of Operations and Licensing, Alhaji Abdullahi Magaji Hardawa was held Friday at NAHCON’s Lagos Zonal Office.
Alhaji Hardawa delivered the opening remarks and enjoined staff to pay attention in the course of the program, considering the topics to be discussed.
Alhaji Usman Shamaki, Director of Inspectorate and Compliance delivered a paper on Process and Procedures for the Inspection of the Facilities of Service Providers, Onshore and Offshore as well as Cardinal principles of Licensing Tour Operators and other service providers.
In the same vein, Deputy Director, State and Zones Alhaji Alidu Shutti Presented a paper on states and Zones while Head of Aviation in the person of Engr M. Goni Sanda presented a paper on Aviation as it relates to Hajj operations.

Alhaji Ahmad Mohammed Shira also presented a paper on Tour Operators activities in Hajj and Umrah business. The Commissioner of Operations Alhaji Abdullah Magaji Hardawa admonished the Staff to be good ambassadors of the Commission because the management of the 4th Board intends to develop and equip the zonal offices in order to provide effective and efficient service delivery to the pilgrims during and after hajj exercise.
