According to Chairman of the commision, Barrister Abdullah Muktar Muhammad, “In his lifetime, he had been a patron of the British pilgrimage to Makkah and a champion of the Muslim community of Great Britain.  He was also a patron to many schools, health and hospitals, philanthropist who excelled in empowerment of the working class.  The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria is part of beneficiaries of Late Adam Patel’s words of wisdom normally delivered during the world Hajj and Umrah convention in London attended regularly by the Commission.
“The Hajj and Umrah communities and indeed the entire Muslim world will surely feel the vacuum, which created loss of Sir Adam Patel. NAHCON joins the world in praying for gentle repose of his soul in Jannatul Firdaus,” he said.
