The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has released the proposed air carriers’ allocation for the 2025 Hajj airlift. According to the allocation, four airlines have been assigned to transport Nigerian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
Flynas has been allocated 22,893 seats, while Air Peace has been assigned 9,145 seats. Max Air has the largest allocation with 23,343 seats, followed by Umza Air with 15,893 seats. The total projected number of pilgrims to be transported is 71,276.
The airlift is scheduled to begin on May 5, marking the start of the Hajj pilgrimage for Nigerian Muslims. NAHCON’s allocation is expected to facilitate a smooth and efficient transportation process for the pilgrims.
