THE National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has trained tour operators on the 2025 Nusuk Masari (E-Track) system. The training focused on using the user dashboard for seamless registration and assessment, ensuring a smoother Hajj process.
The two-day training, which commenced on Tuesday in Abuja, aimed to address common challenges in the Nigerian Hajj industry, particularly those faced by tour operators. A major issue has been delays in obtaining release letters from NAHCON officials or field offices, causing some pilgrims to miss their flights.
During the training, the head of the 2025 Hajj Nusuk Masar team at NAHCON, Mallam Ishaq Ibrahim Jahi, emphasized the commission’s commitment to improving the Hajj experience. He highlighted the importance of efficiency and accuracy in dealing with Saudi Arabian authorities and urged tour operators to provide the best possible service to pilgrims.
“We work day and night to ensure that our pilgrims receive the best treatment. If you provide quality service, your pilgrims will return and spread the word, becoming your marketers,” he said.
Jahi noted that last year’s arrangements successfully resolved the issue of release letter delays, ensuring that no pilgrim missed their flight due to administrative bottlenecks.
“If you look at last year’s system, it was so efficient that no tour operator reported a pilgrim missing their flight due to release delays. I appreciate the efforts of our team and encourage you all to do even more so that everything can be managed digitally without the need for physical visits,” he added.
He acknowledged the challenges posed by evolving regulations from Saudi authorities but stressed the need for adaptability.
“Saudi Arabia is making changes, and though it’s difficult, we have no choice but to adapt. The February 14th deadline was a tough race for us, but thanks to Alhaji Jahe and the team, we managed to meet the requirements,” he said.

Jahi also commended officials for their dedication, describing their work as a service to Allah, for which they would be rewarded.
“We are your representatives, and we will not mislead you. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this system work. Without your efforts, it would not have come to life,” he added.
