The 43-member Advance Team of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has landed in Saudi Arabia. The team departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport, Abuja Sunday for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prepare grounds for over 65,000 Nigerian pilgrims that will be participating in this year’s hajj.
The team made up of 35 NAHCON Officials and 8 Medical Personnel will receive the first set of Nigerian pilgrims from Kebbi State who would be arriving the Kingdom on Wednesday May 15, for the 2024 Holy Pilgrimage.
The team is to organize and coordinate the reception, accommodation, feeding and transportation, health and general welfare of the pilgrim held in the Holy land throughout the Hajj period.
