In a statement issued on behalf of the Commission and its Board, Executive Secretary Bishop Stephen Adegbite praised Shettima’s unwavering support for both Christian and Muslim pilgrimages, highlighting his commitment to religious inclusivity and national development.

“I deeply appreciate the Vice President’s vibrancy, loyalty, partnership, and support for the President and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration,” Adegbite said. “I also acknowledge Sen. Shettima as the most pilgrimage-friendly Vice President in the history of Nigeria and thank him for his unalloyed support for the Hajj and Christian Pilgrimage.”
