Newly sworn in LG Chairman slums, dies in Nasarawa

THE newly sworn in Local government Chairman of Akwanga Local in Nasarawa State , Emmanuel Joseph Leweh was reported to have slummed while addressing a cross section of the people in Akwanga and died three days after.

Eleweh who was sworn in as the Council Chairman in October last year was said to have been rushed to a hospital in Abuja last Monday.

According to sources closed to the late council boss, the 50 years old chairman was a one time Speaker of the Local government.
