Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board will begin medical screening, vaccination and enlightenment for its intending pilgrims to the 2023 hajj, from Friday, May 19 to Monday, May 22, 2023.
A release signed by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda, indicated that the event would take place at Arcade Ground, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, at 8:00 am each day and would be handled by medical experts, while religious leaders would educate them on the dos and don’ts of Hajj.

The release stated that the screening is compulsory, to determine the health status of each pilgrim with the aim of giving advice where necessary, before embarking on holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
It enjoined all intending pilgrims to cooperate with the medical and other teams, come along with their payment receipts and COVID-19 Vaccination Cards, and ensure that they follow strictly the names on the list released for each day.
