More Than 13.9 million Umrah rituals were performed during the month of Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 AH by pilgrims from both inside Saudi Arabia and abroad.
The announcement came from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, working in partnership with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
Over 1.7 million international pilgrims arrived in the Kingdom during this period.
Their journeys were supported by advanced digital platforms and integrated logistical services, ensuring seamless arrivals and smooth performance of rituals.
This remarkable surge highlights Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to expanding and modernizing the Hajj and Umrah system, making access to the Two Holy Mosques easier and more efficient for Muslims worldwide.
