In a stern warning, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, vowed to take severe punitive measures against domestic and foreign Hajj service providers that fail to deliver top-notch services to pilgrims.
This warning was issued during a meeting with chairmen of boards of directors of Hajj service providing companies in Makkah recently.
This move aims to ensure a seamless and sacred experience for pilgrims during the Hajj season.
The minister emphasized that the ministry will hold negligent companies accountable for any shortcomings or violations, imposing penalties that may include permanent cancellation of licenses and prohibition from providing services to pilgrims. Al-Rabiah reviewed preparations for the upcoming Hajj season and praised the Supreme Hajj Committee’s careful follow-up on arrangements.
The minister expressed gratitude to the companies for their efforts and commitment to serving pilgrims. He also highlighted the ministry’s eagerness to recognize and honor distinguished companies that provide exceptional services.
With the ministry’s zero-tolerance policy, service providers are on notice to deliver their best.
