Saudi Arabia’s Islamic Affairs Ministry reopened 44 Mosques after thorough sterilisation and readiness was ensured.

Mosques and other public places such as malls, markets, parks around the Kingdom are being closed after surge of coronavirus cases.

The Minister of Islamic Affairs earlier stated that “Mosques were being closed temporarily however there would not any hesitation to close them if the public fails to adhere to the precautionary measures which result in emergence of new cases”
