Abuja, Nigeria – In a heartwarming display of compassion and generosity, the Sisters of Jannah, a Muslim faith-based women organization, paid a visit to the National Hospital Abuja to provide financial support to cancer patients undergoing treatment.
The visit, which took place on Saturday, was part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to provide emotional and financial support to those in need.
The Sisters of Jannah team, led by the organization’s President, Hajia Aisha Mohammed, was received by the hospital’s management and medical staff.
During the visit, the team presented financial assistance to over 20 cancer patients, including women and children, who are currently receiving treatment at the hospital. The assistance, which ranged from different amounts of money, was aimed at alleviating the financial burden faced by the patients and their families.
“We are deeply moved by the plight of these patients and their families,” said Hajia Mohammed. “As Muslims, we are taught to care for one another and provide support to those in need. We hope that our humble contribution will bring some relief and comfort to these patients.”
The patients, who were visibly overwhelmed with emotion, expressed their gratitude to the Sisters of Jannah for their kindness and generosity. “This assistance has come at a time when we needed it most,” said Mrs. Maryam Ibrahim, a breast cancer patient. “We are grateful to the Sisters of Jannah for their support and prayers.”
