An initiative to provide children of visitors to the Grand Mosque in Makkah with a special iftar meal and ensure their safety during Ramadan has been launched.
Children and their families were informed of the initiative and given gifts at the launch, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques said.
Children of worshippers at the Grand Mosque will receive a dry iftar pack and a wristband containing the contact details of their parents/guardians during the holy month to prevent them getting lost in the crowds.
