Three Nigerian Pilgrims on Umrah in Saudi Arabia have tested positive to coronavirus.
The three pilgrims were among the 75 pilgrims who left the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport last week for Saudi Arabia to perform lesser hajj.
Part of the precautionary measure was the three-day quarantine which will be followed by a Covid-19 test before embarking on the lesser pilgrimage.
Early this morning, however, according to our source in the holy land, three of the 75 pilgrims tested positive and have since began treatment.
Also, others have today, began their Ziyyarah to holy sites as part of their Umrah rites. All things being equal, they will proceed to Makkah tomorrow from their miqaat to complete the Umrah rites.
