Umrah capacity raised to 3m pilgrims monthly

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has increased the capacity of Umrah Pilgrims in Masjid Al Haram, Makkah to 100,000 per day.

The Ministry also increased the visiting capacity for prayers to 60,000 per day.

This comes after Saudi Arabia plans to welcome an influx of pilgrims from abroad starting next month.

Earlier the Ministry announced that it was ready to host pilgrims with previous quota numbers as before the pandemic
